High Voltage Danger Intelligent Voice Warning Device
I. Overview
With the increasing demand for electricity across various industries, more and more transmission lines and power distribution facilities have been built. During a recent holiday when I went back home, I clearly noticed that the number of utility poles, power distribution cabinets, and transformers had increased significantly. Sometimes, when the sidewalk is too narrow, people have to walk under transformers, which is very dangerous. According to observations, most pedestrians lack safety awareness and pay no attention to the high-voltage facilities around them. This behavior virtually increases the probability of external damage accidents to power facilities. In order to promptly remind pedestrians to stay away from power facilities, Telcom has developed the High Voltage Danger Intelligent Voice Warning Device.
II. Working Principle
The High Voltage Danger Intelligent Voice Warning Device is an LED voice flashing light text warning sign, adopting a red background with white text, making it highly noticeable both during the day and at night (with flashing lights). It is equipped with a radar sensing device inside. Once it detects that a person or vehicle enters the sensing range, it immediately activates dual alarms: flashing lights and voice, to prevent external damage to power facilities. Considering that the flashing effect is not good during the day, a photosensitive element is added inside. When the visibility is good during the day, only the voice alarm is used. The device is powered by solar energy or a 12V DC power supply, which can be flexibly selected according to the on-site situation.
III. Technical Parameters
1. Power supply system: Solar energy + lithium battery / external DC 12V
2. Sensing method: Infrared sensing / LiDAR
3. Sensing distance: 5 – 8M
4. Installation environment: Bracket / utility pole / angle iron
IV. Postscript
The Telcom High Voltage Danger Intelligent Voice Warning Device is different from traditional physical text warning signs. On the basis of the LED flashing background board, it additionally adds a voice alarm and a human body sensing radar, which provides a very good warning effect for pedestrians and vehicles that are too close to power facilities, greatly reducing the frequency of man-made external damage faults to power facilities, and playing a positive role in personal safety and operation and maintenance costs.
V. Installation Suggestions
Urban areas are the concentrated areas where external damage accidents to power facilities occur. It is recommended that utility poles, power distribution cabinets, transformers, and transmission towers in this area be equipped with the High Voltage Danger Intelligent Voice Warning Device, and the old text warning signs can also be replaced accordingly.
