Zeolite 4A has strong adsorption capacity and makes preferential adsorption of certain gas and liquid molecular according to relative intensive of molecular formula’s chemical polarity. It also has Ca2+, Mg2+ exchange capacity. As builder of synthetic detergent, it can replace STPP. New type 4A zeolite is alkaline in solution, with buffer action, dispersivity and antiredeposition performance, as well as synergism with surfactant.
