Benzoic acid

Benzoic acid is white crystal flake or needle powder and soluble in alcohol, and slightly soluble in water. It can be used in plasticizer,cutting liquid,lube,coating,antifreeze,paint,antirust paper,resin,or used as dye intermediate and material of fine chemicals. it is antiseptic bactericide too,or used as antiseptic of drug.
used as anti-icing fluid in automobiles, antirust agent of iron and steel, and plastics ingredients(as a benzoate plasticizer),Used as material of sodium benzoate; used in such industries as dyestuff, paint ,oil and fat etc.
