Trimecaine

Trimecaine Monohydrochloride ,its cas register number is 1027-14-1. It also can be called Mesocaine ; Acetanilide, 2-(diethylamino)-2',4',6'-trimethyl-, hydrochloride ; and 2-(Diethylamino)-N-(2,4,6-trimethylphenyl)acetamide monohydrochloride . Benzocaine HCL works by creating a chemical barrier that halts the build-up of sodium, which accumulates as the nerve endings are stimulated by pain. When sodium builds up, electrical signals also build in the nerve endings. These are eventually transmitted to the brain, which interprets the signals as pain.
