【Specification】The standards of veterinary quality in 1996 C13H10N4O5:67.4-73.0%; C6H8N2O: 27.7-30.0% 【Characteristics】A yellow or green-yellow powder, odorless or slight peculiar smell. Slightly soluble in dimethylformamide, insoluble in water, ethanol, ethyl acetate, chloroform, ether and diluting sulfuric acid. 【Action and Usage】Nicarbazin is a compound of dinitro-diphenylurea and dimethyl pyrimidine, with an action of anti-coccidiosis for chicken. By oral application, absorption is faster the former than the latter by alimentary canal, but elimination slower in tissue. It’s mainly inhibit the breeding and growing-up of schizomycete in the second asexual reproduction with an action period in the fourth day by infection, but no effect to other living period of coccidiosis. Nicarbazin is used for guarding against the coccidiosis of chicken. At the same time, there is a good effect to coccidiosis that has resisted other medicines. 【Preparation】Nicarbazin can be used for feed additives. 【Additive dosage】 125-200g per ton of dry feed. 【Package】Cardboard drum of 25kg or 10kg coated with plastic bag or woven bag. 【Contra-indication】Ban for layers, and used carefully in high temperature season. No medication 4 days before being slaughtered. 【Storage】Store in a cool, dry place and protect from light with containers tightly closed.
