Property: Dark blue or bluish violet crystal. Relative density 3.52 (25℃), melting point 275℃, boiling point 346.7℃. Easily soluble in carbon disulfide, soluble in ethyl ether, ethanol, benzene, carbon tetrachloride. Easily decomposed by hot water, oxidized by oxygen in the air when heating and transformed into tungsten oxychloride or tungsten oxide.
Usage: Used in tungsten plating by vapour phase deposition, make single crystal tungsten wire, glass surface conductive layer and olefin polymerization catalyst. Used in the purification of tungsten and organic synthesis. Applied in agriculture, chemical, petroleum catalyst, intelligent glass and other industries.
