Chemical name: Tetramethylthiuram disulfide
Formula: C6H12N2S4
Specification:
| Appearance | White powder |
| Initial melting point | 142℃ min |
| Loss on heating | 0.40% max |
| Ash content | 0.30% max |
| Residue on sieve(100 meshes) | 0.10% max |
Application:
It can be used as a single accelerator, as a secondary accelerator or as a sulphur donor in most sulphur-cured elastomers. Scorchy and gives fast curerates. Produces an excellent vulcanisation plateau with good heat aging and compression set resistance in sulphurless and EVcuresystems. Good color retention isobtained in non-black vulcanisation.
A valuable secondary accelerator for EPDM. Maybe used as a retarder in the vulcanisation of polychloroprene rubber with ETU.
Package: 25kg paper bag or PP weaved bag lined with plastic bag. Or to pack as required.(12MT/20’FCL)
It can be used as a single accelerator, as a secondary accelerator or as a sulphur donor in most sulphur-cured elastomers.
