Meta-xylylenediamine
Other Products
Main Uses
Epoxy Resin Curing Agent:
An important curing agent for high-performance epoxy resins, particularly suitable for scenarios requiring fast curing, high bonding strength, and chemical resistance (such as composite materials, coatings, and adhesives);
The cured resin exhibits excellent mechanical properties (impact resistance, wear resistance) and resistance to damp heat, making it suitable for humid or high-temperature environments (such as marine and chemical equipment coatings).
Polyurethane Raw Material:
Reacts with dibasic acids or diesters to generate polyamides (PA), used for high-performance engineering plastics;
Reacts with diisocyanates to synthesize polyureas, used for elastomers, sealants, etc., offering weather and corrosion resistance superior to ordinary polyurethanes.
Organic Synthesis Intermediate:
Synthesizes heterocyclic compounds (such as benzimidazoles, piperazine derivatives) for pharmaceutical and agrochemical active molecules;
Prepares intermediates for dyes and pigments, introducing functional groups via amino groups to adjust color and stability.
Other Applications:
Metal Chelating Agent: Utilizes two amino groups to form stable chelates with metal ions (such as Cu2+, Ni2+), used for metal separation or electroplating solutions;
Crosslinking Agent: Used in textile auxiliaries and paper treatment agents to improve the tensile strength and water resistance of materials.
