This time of year is a battleground for major enterprises. At the end of the year, everyone is rushing to boost sales. This year, however, the entire industry has been relatively lackluster, affected by the overall macro environment. The external situation is not very good either. But people's production and lives still have to go on, it's just a matter of scale. We believe the authorities will address the issues, after all, they have a better understanding of the situation.
Today, we are introducing the ROP-216HA Weiliang oil pump. This pump is a common product in the 2 series. After years of development and upgrades, it fully meets customers' product requirements. If you need other models or series during production, you can communicate and consult with us. We will do our best to meet your requirements. When doing things, you need to calm down and stay composed. A person with a very bad temper will not be suitable for this kind of work. The ROP-216HA Weiliang oil pump can be customized according to customers' actual needs. For example, accessories such as pressure regulating valves, bases, motors, and couplings can be added as required. Customers can choose according to their actual needs. We look forward to your call for consultation.

Weiliang oil pumps are core power components that convert mechanical energy into hydraulic energy (or fluid kinetic energy). Their core principle is to achieve the suction, pressurization, and delivery of liquids (such as engine oil, fuel, hydraulic oil, etc.) by changing the volume of the working chamber or utilizing changes in fluid momentum. Based on different working principles, oil pumps are mainly divided into two major categories: positive displacement pumps and dynamic pumps. Among them, positive displacement pumps are the most widely used in industrial, automotive, and mechanical fields.
Working prerequisites of the ROP-216HA Weiliang oil pump
No matter what type of oil pump, two basic conditions must be met for it to operate normally:
Sealed working chamber: The working chamber must have good sealing performance, otherwise liquid will leak and effective pressure cannot be formed (this is the key for positive displacement pumps).
Variable working chamber volume (or fluid momentum changes):
Positive displacement type: Oil transportation is achieved through the cycle of "expansion - suction" and "reduction - pressurization and discharge" of the working chamber volume;
Dynamic type: High-speed rotation of components such as impellers drives the liquid to gain kinetic energy, and then the kinetic energy is converted into pressure energy through the diffusion chamber.
Working principle of the ROP-216HA Weiliang oil pump
Different types of oil pumps have large differences in their specific structures and principles. The following are the 3 most common types of oil pumps in industrial and civil fields:
1. Positive displacement pumps (most widely used)
The core of positive displacement pumps is "pressure generated by volume change". According to the movement mode of the working components, they can be further divided into reciprocating pumps and rotary pumps.
(1) Reciprocating oil pumps: Change the volume through the reciprocating movement of pistons/plungers
The most typical representative is the plunger pump (such as high-pressure fuel pumps in automotive fuel injection systems, high-pressure plunger pumps in hydraulic systems). Its principle can be divided into 3 steps:
Suction process: The cam (or eccentric wheel) drives the plunger to move downward, the volume of the pump chamber (the sealed space formed by the plunger and the pump body) expands, the pressure in the chamber is lower than the pressure at the oil inlet, the inlet valve opens, and liquid is sucked into the pump chamber;
Compression process: The plunger moves upward, the volume of the pump chamber shrinks, the liquid in the chamber is compressed, and the pressure rises rapidly. When the pressure is higher than the pressure at the oil outlet, the inlet valve closes and the outlet valve opens;
Discharge process: The plunger continues to move upward, pressing the high-pressure liquid into the pipeline through the outlet valve and delivering it to the downstream system.
Features: High pressure (up to hundreds to thousands of bar), stable flow (only related to plunger stroke and rotational speed), high efficiency, suitable for high-pressure, small-flow scenarios (such as hydraulic presses, high-pressure fuel systems).
(2) Rotary oil pumps: Change the volume through rotating components
Through the rotation of components such as gears, rotors, and blades, the volume of the sealed working chamber is periodically changed to achieve oil suction and discharge. Common types include gear pumps, vane pumps, and rotor pumps, among which gear pumps are the most commonly used (such as automotive oil pumps, low-pressure hydraulic systems).
Take the external gear pump as an example, the principle is as follows:
There is a pair of meshing driving gear and driven gear inside the pump body of the ROP-216HA Weiliang oil pump. Multiple sealed "tooth chambers" (working chambers) are formed between the gears, the pump body and the end covers;
Oil suction: The driving gear drives the driven gear to rotate. On the side of the oil inlet, the gears gradually disengage from meshing, the volume of the tooth chamber expands, the pressure drops, and liquid is sucked into the tooth chamber;
Oil discharge: When the gears rotate to the side of the oil outlet, the gears gradually engage, the volume of the tooth chamber is "squeezed and reduced", the pressure of the liquid in the chamber rises, and the liquid is discharged through the oil outlet;
The gears keep rotating, and the oil suction and discharge processes continue continuously, realizing continuous liquid transportation.
Features: Simple structure, low cost, strong pollution resistance, but relatively low pressure (usually <200bar), slightly large flow pulsation, suitable for low-pressure, large-flow scenarios (such as oil lubrication, low-pressure hydraulic transmission).
2. Dynamic oil pumps (mainly centrifugal pumps)
Dynamic oil pumps do not rely on "volume change", but rely on fluid momentum transfer to achieve oil transportation. The most typical one is the centrifugal pump (such as the coolant pump in automotive cooling systems, large industrial oil transfer pumps).
Its working principle is as follows:
The motor drives the impeller on the pump shaft to rotate at high speed (usually 1000-3000r/min). The blades on the impeller push the liquid to rotate together, and the liquid is "thrown" to the edge of the impeller under the action of centrifugal force;
When the liquid moves from the center of the impeller (liquid suction port) to the edge, both the velocity (kinetic energy) and pressure (pressure energy) increase;
The ejected liquid enters the pump casing (volute-shaped). The cross-sectional area of the pump casing gradually expands, the flow rate of the liquid decreases, part of the kinetic energy is converted into pressure energy, and finally it is discharged from the oil outlet with stable pressure;
A "low-pressure zone" is formed at the center of the impeller because the liquid is ejected. The liquid in the suction pool is continuously supplemented to the center of the impeller through the oil inlet pipe under the action of atmospheric pressure, realizing continuous oil suction.
Features: Large flow rate (much larger than positive displacement pumps), low pressure (usually <10bar), simple structure, stable operation, suitable for large-flow, low-pressure liquid transportation (such as cooling systems, large oil tank oil transfer).
3. Jet oil pumps (special principle, relying on fluid jets)
Jet oil pumps (also known as ejector pumps) have no moving parts and use the negative pressure effect of high-speed jets to realize oil suction. The principle is based on the "Venturi effect":
High-pressure working fluid (such as compressed air, high-pressure oil) is ejected at high speed through the nozzle, forming a low-pressure zone at the nozzle outlet;
The low-pressure zone is connected to the oil suction chamber, sucking the liquid to be transported (such as fuel, lubricating oil) into the mixing chamber;
The high-speed working fluid and the sucked liquid mix in the mixing chamber and enter the diffusion tube together. The flow rate decreases and the pressure rises, and finally they are transported through the discharge pipe.
Features: No moving parts, wear-resistant, suitable for transporting liquids with impurities or high viscosity, but low efficiency (usually <50%), only used in special scenarios (such as small internal combustion engine fuel supply, sewage transportation).
