Hand-operated brush filter
I. Introduction:
The hand-cranked brush filter is installed on pipelines to filter out solid impurities such as rust and sand particles in the fluid, protecting equipment on the pipelines from wear and clogging, ensuring normal operation of machinery and equipment such as compressors, water pumps, valves, and instruments, stabilizing the process, and ensuring safe production. This filter has a reasonable structure and uses high-quality materials. Its shell is made of high-quality carbon steel or stainless steel; the organic brush is free of debris, and its filtration and cleaning effects are far superior to those of perforated nets or woven nets. The bristles are not easily damaged during mesh cleaning, and it only requires gently turning the handle on the outside of the brush frame during use.
II. Product Features:
1. Inlet and Outlet Diameter: In principle, the inlet and outlet diameter of the filter should not be smaller than the inlet diameter of the matched pump, and it is generally consistent with the diameter of the inlet pipeline.
2. Nominal Pressure: The pressure class of the filter is determined according to the maximum pressure that may occur in the filtration pipeline.
3. Selection of Mesh Count: It mainly considers the particle size of impurities to be blocked, and is determined according to the process requirements of the medium flow. For the particle size that can be blocked by various specifications of wire mesh, please refer to the "Filter Mesh Specifications" table below.
4. Filter Material: The material of the filter is generally selected to be the same as the material of the connected process pipeline. For different service conditions, filters made of materials such as cast iron, carbon steel, low-alloy steel, or stainless steel can be considered.
5. Calculation of Filter Resistance Loss: For water filters, under the general calculated rated flow rate, the pressure loss is 0.52~1.2kPa.
III. Technical Parameters:
The maximum filtration flow rate of a single unit can reach 970m³/h
Filtration accuracy ranges from 4000 microns to 20 microns
Optional filter mesh types: drilled mesh (4000-800μm), wedge mesh (1000-50μm), woven composite mesh (800—20μm)
Minimum working pressure ≥0.1MPa
Maximum working pressure ≤2.5MPa (customizable for special requirements)
Working temperature ≤95℃
Cleaning method: brush type
