Q11F-10S Plastic Threaded Ball Valve
I. Introduction:
Q11F-10S plastic threaded ball valves and butt-welded ball valves are divided into three types: integral (one-piece ball valve), two-piece ball valve, and three-piece ball valve. The body of the internal threaded ball valve is cast using Taiwan technology, featuring a reasonable structure and an attractive appearance. The seat of the internal threaded ball valve adopts an elastic sealing structure, ensuring good sealing performance and smooth operation. The stem uses a bottom-loaded design with a back-sealing structure, so the stem will not be ejected even if there is abnormal pressure buildup in the valve cavity. The connection forms of two-piece and three-piece ball valves also include butt welding (BW) and socket welding (SW), and all can be equipped with standard bracket platforms and locking devices. The internal threaded ball valve can be equipped with a 90° on-off positioning mechanism, and a lock can be added as needed to prevent misoperation. The driving methods are manual, electric, and pneumatic. Installation and use of ball valves: When connecting the end flanges to the pipeline, tighten the bolts evenly to prevent flange deformation and leakage. Rotating the handle clockwise closes the valve, while rotating counterclockwise opens it. It is only suitable for on-off and flow-through purposes and should not be used for flow regulation. Liquids containing hard particles can easily scratch the ball surface. It has excellent strength and toughness, as well as outstanding chemical corrosion resistance.
II. Features:
1. Small fluid resistance; full-bore ball valves have almost no flow resistance.
2. Simple structure, small size, and light weight.
3. Tight and reliable sealing. It has two sealing surfaces, and currently, various plastics are widely used as sealing surface materials for ball valves, ensuring good sealing performance and achieving complete sealing. It is also widely used in vacuum systems.
4. Convenient operation with quick opening and closing; only a 90° rotation is required from fully open to fully closed, facilitating remote control.
5. Easy maintenance. The ball valve has a simple structure, and the sealing rings are generally movable, making disassembly and replacement relatively convenient.
6. When fully open or fully closed, the sealing surfaces of the ball and seat are isolated from the medium, so the medium passing through will not cause erosion of the valve's sealing surfaces.
7. Wide application range; the bore diameter ranges from a few millimeters to several meters, and it can be used from high vacuum to high pressure conditions.
8. Due to the wiping action during the opening and closing process of the ball valve, it can be used for media containing suspended solid particles.
III. Applications:
Internal threaded ball valves and welded ball valves are suitable for pipelines with PN1.0~4.0MPa and operating temperatures of -29~180℃ (with reinforced PTFE sealing rings) or -29~300℃ (with polyphenylene sealing rings), used to cut off or connect the medium in the pipeline. By selecting different materials, they can be applied to various media such as water, steam, oil, and nitric acid.
