Pressure differential bypass valve 800X
I. Introduction:
The 800X differential pressure bypass valve consists of a main valve, a differential pressure control pilot valve, a needle valve, a ball valve, a micro filter, and a pressure gauge, forming a hydraulic control piping system. Through a specially designed pilot valve control chamber, pressure change signals are compared, and a main valve opening signal is output to control the main valve opening, thereby stabilizing the differential pressure between the inlet and outlet of the main valve at the set value. When the differential pressure between the inlet and outlet of the main valve changes, the differential pressure between pipe A and pipe B changes, which alters the opening of the pilot valve. When the differential pressure is high, the pilot valve opens wider, the amount of water discharged from the control chamber through pipe C increases, the pressure in the main valve control chamber drops, the main valve opening increases, and the differential pressure between the inlet and outlet of the main valve decreases. Conversely, if the differential pressure between the inlet and outlet of the main valve decreases, the pilot valve opening becomes smaller, the pressure in the main valve control chamber rises, pushing the main valve to open smaller, thus increasing the differential pressure of the main valve. This negative feedback effect stabilizes the differential pressure between the inlet and outlet of the main valve at the set value. The differential pressure between the inlet and outlet of the main valve can be set by adjusting the opening of the needle valve and the spring pressure of the pilot valve.
II. Installation Instructions:
1. Handling: The 800X differential pressure bypass valve should be handled with care. It is recommended to use soft slings for lifting to avoid damaging the valve and piping, and to protect the coating. The valve should be placed on the ground carefully and not dropped directly onto the ground.
2. Pre-installation Inspection: After being transported to the destination, first check and confirm according to the instructions provided by ACOL whether the piping is correct, the connections are reliable, whether the valve has been damaged during transportation, and whether all parts are complete.
3. Before installing the bypass valve, clean the impurities in the pipeline, and check that the corresponding flanges match the pressure class and nominal diameter of the valve's flanges to ensure the smooth flow of the pipeline.
4. Two gate valves should be installed before and after the differential pressure bypass valve for testing and maintenance purposes.
5. The pressure-sensing pipeline of the differential pressure pilot valve should be directly connected to the water supply and return pipelines to accurately reflect the differential pressure between the water supply and return pipes. For ease of installation and use, a small ball valve can be installed on the sensing pipeline.
6. The differential pressure pilot valve has two pressure connection ports: the upper port is connected to the return water pipeline, and the lower port is connected to the water supply pipeline.
III. Precautions:
1. Do not use on pipelines with pressure higher than the nominal pressure.
2. Do not use on media other than those recommended.
3. Do not use at freezing temperatures.
4. Do not apply beyond the range recommended by ACOL
