I. Introduction:
This valve is widely used at the outlet of booster water pumps in water supply systems of industries such as electric power, metallurgy, petrochemical, water utilities, municipal engineering, environmental protection, etc. It prevents backflow of medium in the pipeline network and eliminates water hammer through fast-closing and slow-closing actions, protecting the safety of water pumps and pipeline network systems. The design fully considers the requirements of application scenarios, and technical innovations have been carried out many times. This product features novel structure, small volume, low fluid resistance, stable operation, reliable sealing, strong scouring resistance and wear resistance. Due to its small size and light weight, it is especially suitable for large-diameter pipeline systems.
This valve is the fifth-generation new product after the old manual control valve, hydraulic butterfly valve, multi-functional hydraulic valve, and hydraulic automatic valve at the water pump outlet. Through fluid design of the valve, a straight flow channel is formed, which has low energy consumption, stable operation and good sealing effect. It integrates the functions of electric gate valve, electric butterfly valve and check valve. By shortening the fast-closing time, it can better eliminate the harm of water hammer and protect the safety of water pumps and pipeline network systems.
II. Working Principle:
When turning the handwheel in the forward direction, the large and small valve stems drive the upper and lower sealing plates to compress the sleeve and close the valve; conversely, the valve opens. In this way, the gate plate reciprocates up and down between the guide posts to complete the opening and closing of the valve. In some working conditions with a large amount of sediment and debris (such as water quality of the Yellow River, sewage treatment systems, etc.), the valve control pipeline is prone to clogging, leading to valve failure. Large debris may also jam the valve plate, resulting in poor valve sealing. In addition, in some special working conditions, the water hammer during valve opening and closing is very large, causing huge noise and even accidents. Since its establishment, our company has been committed to the research and development and production of water pump outlet control valves. To completely solve these problems, our company has developed the pipe force valve after three years of research and development.
III. Application:
It is mainly used in the water outlet pipelines of centrifugal pumps, mixed flow pumps and axial flow pumps in automated water supply and drainage pump stations. It is designed with two types of control devices: piston type and diaphragm type, which are suitable for clear water, raw water media and sewage, slurry water media respectively. Through auxiliary components, it can feed back the online operation status of the valve in real time, and realize automatic control and remote detection functions for long-distance transmission projects. In terms of product types, the company has developed five specifications including general type, backwater low-pressure type, sewage type, etc., to meet the needs of different customers in different working conditions. Due to its compact structure, small size and light weight, it is especially suitable for large-diameter pipeline systems.
