Technical Analysis of Fluidization Plates (Fluidization Discs)
Fluidization plates (fluidization discs) are key components in dense-phase powder conveying systems, mainly used at the bottom of injection tanks or pulverized coal bins. They achieve efficient, long-distance conveying by uniformly mixing compressed air with powders (such as pulverized coal) to form a stable fluidized state. Below is a detailed description of their core design features and working principles:
- Material: Made of 1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel plate (thickness approx. 3mm), with excellent high-temperature resistance (up to 800℃), corrosion resistance (suitable for harsh environments such as chemical and metallurgical industries), and high mechanical strength.
- Pore Structure:
- Long Slits: Arranged in a cross-shaped layout, with slits perpendicular to the central cross line to ensure uniform air flow distribution.
- Slit Parameters:
- Gap: 0.5mm (controls air flow accuracy)
- Length: 20mm
- Pitch: 10mm (optimizes air flow penetration)
- Chamfering Treatment: The lower edge of the slits is chamfered at 1×45°, which concentrates compressed air in the middle, enhances the suspension and fluidization effect of pulverized coal, and improves conveying stability.
2. Core Functions and Advantages
- Efficient Fluidization: The precision-designed slit structure allows air flow to penetrate the powder layer uniformly, forming a stable solid-gas two-phase flow and avoiding local accumulation or blockage.
- Energy Saving and Consumption Reduction: Optimized air flow distribution reduces compressed air consumption and lowers operating costs.
- Strong Adaptability:
- Suitable for newly built injection systems or modification of existing systems.
- Can be designed as fixed welded type (for long-term stable working conditions) or movable type (bolted) (for easy maintenance and replacement).
3. Application Scenarios
- Blast Furnace Pulverized Coal Injection System: Ensures stable conveying of pulverized coal to the blast furnace and improves combustion efficiency.
- Pneumatic Ash Conveying System: Used for conveying fly ash in power plants and chemical plants.
- Other Powder Conveying: Such as dense-phase or dilute-phase conveying systems for cement, lime, mineral powder, etc.
4. Technical Optimization Directions
- Porosity Adjustment: Custom slit parameters can be designed according to different powder characteristics (particle size, density) to optimize fluidization effect.
- Wear-resistant Coating: For high-wear working conditions, a wear-resistant coating can be added to the stainless steel surface to extend service life.
If you need more detailed technical parameters (such as pressure bearing capacity, flow calculation) or industry application cases, further discussion is welcome!
