The ZN23 ZN12-40.5 35kV indoor fixed/handcart-type high-voltage vacuum circuit breaker is an indoor high-voltage switching equipment with a rated voltage of 40.5kV and three-phase AC 50Hz. It is mainly used in power transmission and distribution systems such as industrial and mining enterprises and substations as control and protection switches, and is especially suitable for industries requiring frequent operations such as metallurgy and electric arc steelmaking.

This circuit breaker has a simple structure and strong breaking capacity. It adopts a modular operating mechanism and modular design, with long service life and excellent breaking performance. It can be configured as a handcart type, suitable for a variety of switchgear models such as JYN1, GBC, XGN17-40.5. Its operating mechanism is a spring energy-storage type, supporting AC, DC energy-storage operation or manual operation.

The mechanism and arc extinguishing chamber system of this circuit breaker are designed as an integral body, with a reasonable and concise overall layout. The electrical components adopt modular design, which is easy to disassemble and replace damaged electrical components. A modular spring energy-storage operating mechanism, 3AF type spring operating mechanism or DYT-1 type spring energy-storage mechanism is adopted. It can be operated by AC or DC energy storage, and can also be operated manually. The energy storage structure is a worm gear structure, and its energy storage time does not exceed 15 seconds.

The vacuum arc extinguishing chamber is of porcelain structure, adopting longitudinal magnetic field contacts, with low arc energy voltage (20-200V) and low current chopping value (4-15A). The insulators supporting the vacuum arc extinguishing chamber adopt triangular support, with reasonable force and stable structure.

The operating environment conditions include the ambient air temperature ranging from +40℃ (upper limit) to -10℃ (lower limit, -25℃ for alpine regions), altitude ≤1000m, relative humidity with daily average ≤95% and monthly average ≤90%, seismic intensity not exceeding 8 degrees, and it is not suitable for places with flammable, explosive, chemical corrosion and severe vibration.

It has the ability to break inductive and capacitive loads, is suitable for a variety of mainstream switchgears, can also be used alone, and is interchangeable with domestic similar products.
