The LN2 series circuit breakers are indoor high-voltage withdrawable (SF6) circuit breakers with a rated voltage of 35kV (40.5kV), which are mainly used in three-phase AC power systems in places such as industrial and mining enterprises, power plants and substations.

1. Product Overview

This series of circuit breakers is suitable for power systems with a rated voltage of 40.5kV and a frequency of 50Hz. Its core functions include protecting and controlling power lines, and it is especially suitable for frequent operation scenarios, such as switching capacitor banks or being used as connecting circuit breakers. The product design is compatible with mainstream switchgear models such as KYN61, JYN1, GBC, etc., and can be used alone or embedded for installation.

2. Main Technical Parameters

Rated current: covers multiple specifications such as 630A, 1250A, 1600A, 2000A, 2500A, etc.

Rated short-circuit breaking current: usually 25kA or 31.5kA.

Insulation level: The peak value of lightning impulse withstand voltage can reach 185kV or 215kV, and the power frequency withstand voltage (1 minute) is 95kV.

Mechanical and electrical life: The mechanical life can reach 10,000 times (M2 grade), and the electrical life is E2 grade. Some models claim a mechanical life of up to 30,000 times.

SF6 gas parameters: The rated pressure (at 20℃) is usually 0.40 or 0.50MPa, and the annual leakage rate is ≤1%.

Operating time: Closing time ≤0.1 second, opening time ≤0.06 second.

3. Structural and Design Features

Arc extinguishing chamber design: Adopts self-energy rotating arc expansion arc extinguishing chamber, comprehensively applying the principles of rotating arc longitudinal blowing and air compression, with the characteristics of short arcing time, good breaking performance and no operating overvoltage.

Modular design: Both the operating mechanism and electrical components adopt modular design, with compact and reasonable layout, convenient maintenance and replacement.

Withdrawable unit and insulation: The center distance between phases of the withdrawable unit is usually designed to be 30mm, the contact arm is made of sulfided epoxy resin reinforced insulation, and the contact is a circular梅花 contact. The propulsion device adopts a screw nut structure, which is convenient for moving in the switchgear.

Mechanism configuration: It can be equipped with CT10 type spring operating mechanism, integrated spring operating mechanism or CD10IIIG electromagnetic operating mechanism.

Gas monitoring: Equipped with a temperature-compensated SF6 density control meter, which can automatically monitor the gas pressure and send out an alarm or locking signal when the pressure is abnormal.

4. Application Conditions and Standards

Operating environment: The upper limit of ambient temperature is generally +40℃, and the lower limit can reach -40℃ or -30℃; the altitude generally does not exceed 2000m (some models can reach 3000m); the installation place should be free of flammable, explosive dangers and severe vibrations.
