Coating-Grade ECTFE Resin— 31010 (Primer)

1.Product Introduction

Ethylene chlorotrifluoroethylene, as a resin, is a very pure fluoropolymer. In addition to the excellent mechanical properties, weather resistance, and chemical resistance common to fluorinated resins, it also features outstanding light transmittance, with almost no absorption of visible and ultraviolet light. Furthermore, due to the presence of chlorine atoms, it has one of the lowest moisture vapor transmission rates among all fluoropolymers, effectively preventing the permeation of many liquids and gases, which contributes to the anti-corrosion and anti-rust protection of the substrate.

31010 (Primer) is a black semi-crystalline fluorinated primer that can be melt-processed. It is recommended for use as a primer coating (though not limited to) in chemical and semiconductor industries for protecting containers such as reactors, pipelines, storage tanks, and mixers, thereby extending the service life of equipment.

3.Product Marking, Packaging, Storage, and Transportation Instructions

3.1Marking

The packaging drum of this product shall have a firm and clear label indicating the company name, product name, batch number, grade (specification number), net weight, etc.

3.3  Packaging

Packaged in double-layer polyethylene bags, with an outer packaging of moisture-proof rigid paper drums. Each drum has a net weight of (20±0.1) kg.

3.2Storage

The product should be stored in a clean, cool, and dry warehouse to prevent resin agglomeration and contamination by moisture, dust, and other impurities.

3.3Transportation

This product is transported as non-hazardous goods. During transportation, avoid severe shaking, exposure to high temperatures and sunlight, and rough handling on uneven surfaces.
