1.Product Introduction

Adding PTFE micropowder to engineering plastics can significantly improve the wear resistance of these materials, reduce the coefficient of friction, enhance self-lubrication, and lower noise. It can be used in the manufacturing of parts with high wear resistance requirements such as gears, bearings, and pulleys, and can also replace metal components that serve a lubricating function, reducing the weight of the parts and lowering costs. It is widely used in engineering plastics such as polyoxymethylene (POM), nylon (PA), polycarbonate (PC), polyether ether ketone (PEEK), polyester (PET), and polyphenylene sulfide (PPS).
Typically, adding 2-20% of micropowder to engineering plastics forms a polytetrafluoroethylene dry film between the plastic parts and the mating surfaces, protecting the plastic from wear during friction, reducing plastic wear by multiples, and extending the service life of the plastic. Special grades can be used in high-temperature (420°C) molding and processing of engineering plastics.

3.Product Labeling, Packaging, Storage, and Transportation Instructions

3.1Labeling

The packaging drum of this product should have a firm and clear label indicating the company name, product name, batch number, grade (specification number), net weight, etc.

Packaging

This product is packaged in paper drums (lined with double-layer polyethylene plastic bags), with a net weight of (25± 0.2) kg per drum. Each drum should include a product certificate containing: company name, product name, batch number, grade (specification number), net weight, and production date. For special packaging requirements, it will be negotiated between the supplier and the buyer.

3.2Storage

This product should be stored in a clean, cool, and dry place, protected from rain and direct sunlight, and kept free from moisture, dust, and other impurities.

3.3Transportation

This product is transported as non-hazardous goods. During transportation, it should be protected from moisture and severe vibration.
