AR490X Series Linear Hall Switches

AR490X is a compact, versatile, linear Hall-effect sensor whose output

signal level is determined by the magnetic field strength applied to the sensitive surface of the device, varying proportionally with the magnetic field

strength. When AR490X is under zero magnetic field conditions, its output voltage

is half of the supply voltage. When the S magnetic pole appears on the AR49E marked surface, the output

voltage will linearly increase with increasing magnetic field strength; conversely, the magnetic pole will cause the output

voltage to linearly decrease with increasing magnetic field strength. AR490X features low noise output

characteristics, eliminating the need for external filtering. It also includes thin-film resistors, which

enhance temperature stability and accuracy. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to 150°C,

making it suitable for various commercial and consumer electronics applications.
