FTLF-8 Tunnel Intelligent Crack Width Measuring Instrument

I. Overview

The Tunnel Intelligent Crack Width Measuring Instrument is primarily used for automated measurement of cracks in various railway tunnels, and can also be applied to crack measurement in highways, dams, and other structures.

II. Principle Introduction

This instrument employs optical image processing technology to perform rotational scanning of tunnel cross-sections, automatically identifying and measuring the width of cracks within the tunnel's internal cross-section. Through an automatic zoom and focus optical system, the surface of the tunnel crack is imaged onto a CCD image sensor. The width of the crack image is measured via USB digital signal transmission and image processing software. By using dual laser beams and calibrating the magnification of the crack image, the actual width of the crack is automatically determined and displayed. The resulting data is saved in both image and data packet formats.

IV. Instrument Composition

The instrument consists of a measuring frame and a main unit, which works in conjunction with a computer for measurements.
