 • Definition and Purpose: Fluidizing discs and fluidizing plates are actually different names for the same type of equipment. They are key components of the fluidizer at the bottom of the injection tank in a blast furnace pulverized coal injection system. The fluidizing disc/plate is installed at the bottom of the injection tank or inside the fluidizer at the bottom of the pulverized coal bin. Gas passes through the fluidizing disc/plate and fully mixes with the pulverized coal on the bed, forming a fluidized solid-gas mixture, which facilitates long-distance transportation.

 • Structure and Material: Fluidizing plates are typically made from multi-layer metal woven wire mesh as raw material, prepared through special lamination design, composite pressing, and vacuum (or protective atmosphere) sintering processes. The material is generally high-performance stainless steel, such as 1Cr18Ni9Ti, which features high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, high mechanical strength, rigidity, and long service life. 

• Features and Advantages: The fluidizing disc/plate has uniform pore distribution, stable flow and resistance control characteristics, enabling even distribution of airflow with minimal resistance loss. At the same time, it offers excellent mass transfer, heat transfer, and fluidization effects, high efficiency, low gas consumption, ease of material transportation adjustment, and the ability to save conveying gas and reduce costs.
