• Definition and Purpose: Fluidizing discs and fluidizing plates are actually different names for the same type of equipment. They are key components of the fluidizer at the bottom of the injection tank in a blast furnace pulverized coal injection system. The fluidizing disc/plate is installed at the bottom of the injection tank or inside the fluidizer at the bottom of the pulverized coal bin. Gas passes through the fluidizing disc/plate and fully mixes with the pulverized coal on the bed, forming a fluidized solid-gas mixture, which facilitates long-distance transportation.
• Structure and Material: Fluidizing plates are typically made from multi-layer metal woven wire mesh as raw material, prepared through special lamination design, composite pressing, and vacuum (or protective atmosphere) sintering processes. The material is generally high-performance stainless steel, such as 1Cr18Ni9Ti, which features high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, high mechanical strength, rigidity, and long service life.
• Features and Advantages: The fluidizing disc/plate has uniform pore distribution, stable flow and resistance control characteristics, enabling even distribution of airflow with minimal resistance loss.
