The bin pump (also known as a sending tank) produced by Lanhao Environmental Protection is a dense-phase pressure conveying device used for pneumatic transportation of powdered and granular materials, achieving enclosed and efficient material transmission through pipelines via compressed air. Its core structure and workflow are as follows:
1. Core Structural Components
Main Container
Pump Body: Pressure-resistant tank (carbon steel/stainless steel material), working pressure ≤0.7MPa, volume 0.2~15m³, designed to withstand the interaction between materials and air pressure.
Inlet/Outlet Valves:
Inlet Valve (top): Dome valve or double gate valve, controlling material filling;
Outlet Valve (bottom): Wear-resistant ceramic valve or pneumatic slide gate valve, opens during conveying.
Air Circuit System
Fluidization Device: Bottom aerator plate or fluidization cone, introduces compressed air to suspend and fluidize materials;
Air Intake Assembly: Multi-path air pipes (main conveying air, fluidizing air, auxiliary purging air);
Exhaust Valve: Releases air from the tank during filling to prevent air pressure from hindering material intake.
Control System
PLC automatically controls material level, air pressure, and valve timing, supports manual/automatic mode switching.
2. Workflow (Four-Stage Cycle)

1. Filling Inlet valve opens → material fills by gravity → level sensor detects full tank → closes inlet valve/exhaust valve Exhaust valve opens simultaneously to ensure atmospheric pressure filling
2. Pressurization and Fluidization Compressed air (0.2~0.6MPa) enters through fluidization plate → material suspends to form gas-solid two-phase flow Aerator plate micropore diameter 41~56μm, ensures uniform fluidization
3. Conveying Outlet valve opens → material is pushed into pipeline by air pressure → Laval tube increases pressure and accelerates conveying[14］^ Conveying speed: dense-phase low speed (2~8m/s) or dilute-phase high speed
4. Purging and Reset Secondary compressed air purges pipeline → closes outlet valve → exhaust valve depressurizes to atmospheric pressure Purging time ≥5s, prevents residue and clogging
