• Function and Principle ◦ Function: The pulverized coal filter is mainly used to filter out coarse and large particles, as well as impurities such as woven fibers and wood chips in the pulverized coal, ensuring smooth pneumatic conveying of pulverized coal, preventing clogging of distributors, lances, and valves on branch pipes, and guaranteeing continuous and stable coal injection.
Principle: When the coal powder containing impurities enters the double-cone filter, turbulence is formed due to the sudden change in the flow channel cross-section. Large particles of impurities settle after impacting the diversion baffle due to inertia, achieving primary filtration. Then, the pulverized coal passes through the honeycomb filter plate, where fibers and fine particles are trapped on the surface of the filter plate, completing fine filtration. The purified pulverized coal then enters the downstream pipeline.
• Structural Features ◦ Main Structure: Usually made of carbon steel, it generally adopts a double-cone butt-welded structure. This design ensures stable airflow inside the entire shell, facilitating the smooth passage of pulverized coal, reducing flow resistance, and minimizing wear.
