2BV Series Water Ring Vacuum Pump is suitable for extracting gases and water vapor, with an intake pressure reaching up to 33 mbar absolute (97% vacuum). When transformer oil is used as the working fluid (referred to as an oil ring vacuum pump), the intake pressure can reach 6.7 mbar absolute (99.3% vacuum), completely replacing reciprocating vacuum pumps. When the liquid ring vacuum pump operates for extended periods near the ultimate vacuum intake pressure, a cavitation protection pipe should be connected to protect the pump and eliminate cavitation noise. When used as a compressor, the maximum pressure can reach 0.26 MPa (absolute pressure). As the exhaust pressure increases during compressor use, the power of the 2BV pump will also increase. The exhaust pressure should be specified when ordering to select the appropriate motor power.
As a new generation of energy-saving products, the 2BV series water ring vacuum pump will fully replace the same-performance SK, 2SK series water ring vacuum pumps and W, WY, WL series reciprocating vacuum pumps with its outstanding performance and numerous advantages.
The 2BV2-Ex and 2BV6 series water ring vacuum pumps/compressors are mainly used for extracting explosive gases and operating in various flammable and explosive environments. Their performance parameters are the same as the corresponding models of the 2BV2 and 2BV5 series.
The 2BV series stainless steel vacuum pump can be used in applications requiring high corrosion resistance and high cleanliness.
Depending on the working conditions, all wetted parts of the 2BV series stainless steel vacuum pump—impeller, disc, pump cover, pump body—can be made from materials such as:
SUS304 (0Cr18Ni9)
SUS316 (0Cr17Ni12Mo2)
SUS316L (00Cr17Ni14Mo2)
and other stainless steel materials. Pump shaft materials: 2Cr13, SUS304, or SUS316L.
Mechanical seals are imported products, and sealing components can be made of fluororubber or polytetrafluoroethylene.
Compared to domestic counterparts like SK, 2SK, SZ, and other water ring vacuum pumps, it has the following features:
1. Direct-coupled motor and pump design saves space and is easy to install.
2. All models use imported mechanical seals as standard.
3. The entire 2BV series is equipped with cavitation protection pipe interfaces. When operating at ultimate pressure, opening the cavitation protection pipe interface (or connecting it to a separator) can eliminate cavitation noise while ensuring optimal suction performance and protecting the pump.
4. Aluminum bronze impeller offers high strength, durability, and improved corrosion resistance. If wetted parts are made of stainless steel, the pump can operate in more demanding environments.
5. Unique flexible exhaust port design prevents over-compression, ensuring optimal efficiency within the 2BV performance range.
6. All models use Y2 series motors with protection ratings IP54 and IP55 (typically IP44).
7. All models use imported NTN or NSK bearings.

Note: Performance curves are obtained under the following conditions: intake medium is saturated air at 20°C, working fluid temperature is 15°C, and exhaust pressure is 1013 mbar. Performance tolerance is ±10%. The left side of the graph shows the performance curve when equipped with an air ejector.
The working fluid flow rates listed in the table are for use with a gas-water separator and partial recirculation of the working fluid. If the working fluid is not recirculated, the actual required flow rate is approximately 1.7 times the value in the table.
Selection Example:
1. Design point parameters: suction flow v = 200 m³/h, suction pressure P1 = 200 mbar
2. Other parameters are the same as standard conditions (see note). Select the curve closest to design point 1.
3. In this example, it is 111V. According to the curve number, find the corresponding product model (i.e., order number, but only for standard types). For example, from 111V, the pump model can be determined as 2BV5111 (non-explosion-proof) or 2BV6111 (explosion-proof).
4. The water temperature significantly affects the performance of water ring vacuum pumps. The performance curves of water ring vacuum pumps are measured at a water temperature of 15°C. Therefore, when selecting a water ring vacuum pump, the suction rate should be corrected.
