Assembly workbench

Hebei Beizhong Assembly Workbench is a type of cast iron surface plate, an indispensable cast iron workbench for layout, measurement, riveting, welding, and tooling processes. Its surface is equipped with T-slots, which can be used to secure power machinery equipment, serve as a mechanical testing platform, and more. In the production and design of assembly platforms, box-type, rib-plate, or other structural forms are adopted. The assembly workbench is applicable to over 20 industries, including mechanical machine tool manufacturing, electronics, and power, with the heaviest usage in heavy industry, accounting for 95% of the total production.

Assembly workbenches are generally not flat; most have transverse + longitudinal slots, while T-slot platforms typically have unidirectional slots.
The processing technology of the assembly workbench is as follows:
1. First process the reference surface
During the processing of the platform, the surface used as the positioning reference should be processed first to quickly provide a precise reference for subsequent processing. This is referred to as "reference first."
2. Divide the processing stages
Surfaces of the assembly workbench that require high processing quality are divided into processing stages, generally categorized into rough machining, semi-finishing, and finishing. This is mainly to ensure processing quality, facilitate the rational use of equipment, arrange heat treatment processes conveniently, and promptly identify defects in the blank.
3. Process holes after surfaces
For components such as square boxes, brackets, and connecting rods, surfaces should be processed first, followed by holes. This allows for machining holes based on surface positioning, ensuring positional accuracy between surfaces and holes, and facilitating the machining of holes on surfaces.
4. Finishing processes (such as honing, lapping, and precision grinding) for the main surfaces of the assembly cast iron workbench should be carried out at the final stage of the process route to prevent damage to the finished surfaces due to transportation and installation between processes.
On the opposite sides of the assembly workbench, there should be provisions for installing handles or lifting points, such as threaded holes or cylindrical holes.
