The cast iron inspection plate is mainly used for inspection, marking, assembly, positioning, fitting, measurement, riveting, welding, testing, power machinery testing, etc. It is suitable for various inspection tasks and serves as a reference plane for precision measurement. The inspection platform is a measurement benchmark for inspecting mechanical parts, flatness, parallelism, straightness, and other geometric tolerances. It can also be used for marking, grinding process machining, and measurement of general parts and precision parts. It is an indispensable basic tool in mechanical manufacturing.
When installing the cast iron inspection platform, the working surface of the plate should be adjusted to be as level as possible. The supports used to hold the plate should be placed at the main support points to prevent deformation. When using the cast iron inspection platform, after inspection or marking work is completed, castings or workpieces should be removed from the plate to prevent large castings from deforming the plate due to prolonged pressure. After use, the working surface of the plate should be cleaned, and a layer of anti-rust oil should be applied to the surface. If the plate is not used for an extended period, apply a layer of anti-rust oil or butter and ideally wrap it with oil paper. If the wooden packaging cover from the purchase of the inspection platform is retained, it is best to cover the plate with it when not in use. The cast iron inspection platform should be placed in a dry, ventilated area, preferably not in damp locations, and ensure no water droplets fall on the plate. Finally, the plate requires regular inspection, with the frequency determined by usage conditions, typically every 6 to 12 months.
