Paving Machine Electronic Control System Solution

The paver is a high-grade highway surface material paving equipment. During operation, it is accompanied by a large number of supporting equipment upstream and downstream. Once a failure occurs, the losses upstream and downstream can be significant, hence high stability and reliability are required.

Changsha Shuobo Electronics has introduced a paver electronic control system, with the controller SPC-SFMC-X3632A as the main control unit, paired with IO modules SPC-SDIO-3200, SPC-SDIO-0711, SPC-SDIO-1212, and a 7-inch display SPD-070-Fx. The IO module SPC-SDIO-3200 and the display SPD-070-Fx are installed on the console to collect input signals. The controller SPC-SFMC-X3632A and the IO module SPC-SDIO-0711 are installed in the main control cabinet. The IO module SPC-SDIO-1212 is installed on both sides for side control;

The Shuobo Electronics paver electronic control system features a carefully designed CAN network topology with a rational layout. The display SPD-070-Fx and IO modules SPC-SDIO-3200 and SPC-SDIO-0711 are connected to the CAN1 port of the controller SPC-SFMC-X3632A. The engine is connected to the CAN2 port of the controller SPC-SFMC-X3632A, and the side controls on both sides are connected to the CAN3 port of the controller SPC-SFMC-X3632A. The entire machine adopts a CAN network, resulting in a simple wiring harness structure and a stable and reliable system.

System functions:
1. The paver's travel system uses a high-quality closed-loop control algorithm, ensuring stable travel speed and superior sensitivity and follow-up performance in steering;
2. The material conveying and distribution system employs a PVC drive method with current feedback, allowing stepless adjustment of the mechanism's operating speed. The speed is smooth, significantly reducing aggregate segregation, minimizing hydraulic system impact, and extending the system's service life;
3. The human-machine interface serves as a monitoring and debugging tool, featuring offline debugging, fault diagnosis, and other functions. It is simple and quick to operate, reducing downtime for fault maintenance;
4. After leaving the factory, replacement parts can be calibrated using the self-learning function, reducing after-sales maintenance workload and saving on after-sales maintenance costs;
