Polyester Grille

Polyester geogrid is made from polyester fiber as the raw material. It adopts a warp-knitted directional structure, where the warp and weft yarns in the fabric are in a non-bent state relative to each other, and the intersection points are bound together with high-strength filament fibers, forming firm connection points that leverage their mechanical properties. Warp-knitted polyester geogrid offers high tensile strength, low elongation, high tear resistance, minimal difference in longitudinal and transverse strength, resistance to UV aging, abrasion, and corrosion, light weight, strong interlocking with soil or gravel, and plays a significant role in enhancing soil shear resistance and reinforcing the integrity and load-bearing capacity of the soil mass.

Applications:

1. Warp-knitted polyester geogrid is used for reinforcing soft soil subgrades in highways, railways, municipal roads, and various other road types, effectively improving subgrade strength and delaying reflective cracking.

2. It is applied in hydraulic engineering for reinforcing embankments and river channels, isolating and stabilizing soft soil foundations, enhancing protective capabilities, and improving foundation bearing capacity and stability.

4. Employed in railway ballast protection: Prevents ballast loss caused by train vibrations and weather exposure by wrapping the ballast with geogrid, thereby improving subgrade stability.
