I. Product Function

During the material conveying process, there is a height difference between the upper and lower conveyor belts. When material falls from the upper conveyor belt to the lower one, the impact of the material on the lower belt, along with the induced wind shear during the fall, generates dust and causes material spillage. The main function of the chute is to centralize the material falling from the funnel onto the middle of the conveyor belt, preventing material spillage and dust leakage.

II. Product Classification

1. Based on the sealing method, chutes can be classified into double-sealed and fully-sealed types;
Differences between double-sealed and fully-sealed chutes:
① Fully-sealed chutes have two layers of side baffles, while double-sealed chutes have one layer;
② Fully-sealed chutes are equipped with wear plates;
③ Fully-sealed chutes require specialized idler sets;
④ In fully-sealed chutes, the belt runs between the anti-spillage apron and the wear plate; in double-sealed chutes, the belt runs between the anti-spillage apron and the idler;
⑤ In fully-sealed chutes, the lower side of the belt runs on a flat surface, ensuring smooth operation and excellent contact between the anti-spillage apron and the belt, resulting in superior sealing. In double-sealed chutes, the lower side of the belt runs on idlers, causing vertical bouncing during operation, which prevents the anti-spillage apron from maintaining good contact with the conveyor belt, leading to inferior sealing.
2. Based on installation position, chutes are divided into front, middle, and rear sections. The front section is equipped with a dust curtain to prevent dust generated during material drop from escaping; the rear section is equipped with a baffle to prevent material spillage from the feed hopper or other feeding devices.

III. Product Structure

Composition of the chute: It consists of upper, middle, and lower parts. The middle side plate is connected to the conveyor frame and is fixed. The top cover and bottom plate are bolted to the side plates, facilitating easy installation and maintenance. The front and rear ends are equipped with multiple sealing and dust suppression components, which reduce pressure, slow down speed, and settle dust, allowing cleaner airflow to exit at the chute outlet. The entire chute forms a closed structure, preventing dust from spreading even when wind and dust vortices create impact pressure. The non-load-bearing sides of the conveyor belt are supported by anti-spillage aprons made of highly wear-resistant materials, which both support the belt and provide sealing. The anti-spillage aprons are connected to the side plates, and the side plates are connected to the top plate, forming a shell-type sealed structure.

IV. Selection Criteria

1. The length of the chute should be selected based on the difference between the material drop speed and the stable operating speed of the conveyor belt. Generally, one front section and one rear section are installed, with the number of middle sections added as needed.
2. Chutes can be customized according to specific customer requirements and can be segmented. For example, a 9-meter chute can be divided into 6 sections, each 1.5 meters long, with each section supported by 2 legs.
