Product Introduction:

Propionaldehyde is an organic compound with the chemical formula C₃H₆O. Shandong is the main manufacturer of propionaldehyde. It is a colorless transparent liquid, primarily used in the production of synthetic fibers, rubber accelerators, and antioxidants, and can also serve as an antifreeze, lubricant, dehydrating agent, etc.

Propionaldehyde is an important raw material for fine chemicals, mainly used to produce intermediates such as n-propanol, propionic acid, trimethylolethane, and propionaldehyde oxime. These intermediates are further utilized in the production of alkyd resins, agricultural herbicides and insecticides, pharmaceuticals like meprobamate and ethiazide, and are widely applied in the manufacturing of fine chemicals for coatings, plastics, food, light textiles, feed, and rubber additives. It can also function as a chain terminator in ethylene polymerization.
