Product Introduction:

Vinyl acetate, also known as acetic vinyl ester, is an organic compound with the chemical formula C₄H₆O₂. It is an important raw material in organic chemical industry.

Uses:

It is mainly used as a raw material for manufacturing synthetic fiber vinylon and is also a component of various copolymer resins such as EVA. The polymer of vinyl acetate—polyvinyl acetate derivatives and polyvinyl alcohol—are widely used as adhesives, architectural coatings, textile sizing and finishing agents, paper enhancers, and in the production of safety glass, among other applications.

Emergency Treatment: Quickly evacuate personnel from the leak-contaminated area to a safe zone and isolate the area, strictly restricting access. Cut off the ignition source. Emergency responders are advised to wear self-contained positive pressure breathing apparatus and fire-resistant protective clothing. As much as possible, cut off the source of the leak and prevent it from entering confined spaces such as sewers and flood drainage ditches.
