Sound barrier

Product Introduction:

A sound barrier is an acoustic shielding device installed between the sound source and the receiving point to block the direct propagation of sound waves. It creates an acoustic shadow zone behind the barrier, reducing the impact of sound energy, making it an effective facility for preventing noise transmission.

It is used for noise control in railways, highways, urban rail transit, and various high-noise equipment, especially suitable for controlling noise emitted by cooling towers, outdoor air conditioning units, fans, generators, air compressors, punching machines, etc.

Structural Performance:

1. CJ-GPJ Type Metal Sound Barrier: The panel and perforated plate are made of galvanized sheet, but cold-rolled sheet, aluminum plate, or stainless steel plate can also be used according to customer requirements. Depending on the sound insulation needs, the filling material is selected from ultra-fine glass wool boards or melamine foam boards of different densities, covered with alkali-free hydrophobic glass cloth. The outer surface can be spray-coated, with various colors available. Weighted sound insulation index Rw = 30–42 dB(A), sound absorption coefficient NRC = 0.95–0.98.

2. CJ-GPT Type Transparent Sound Barrier: Made of polycarbonate panels, weighted sound insulation index Rw = 30–40 dB(A).

Model Specifications:

There are two types of sound barriers: CJ-GPJ Type Metal Sound Barrier and CJ-GPT Type Transparent Sound Barrier.

The spacing of the steel structure columns for the sound barrier is 2000–2500 mm. The barrier panels typically come in two thicknesses: 100 mm and 50 mm, but non-standard customization is also available according to customer requirements.
