The main fixing methods for brackets include welding on embedded iron parts and fixing with expansion bolts. Cable tray installation shall comply with the following regulations:

1. When the length of a straight steel cable tray exceeds 30m, or the length of an aluminum alloy or fiberglass reinforced plastic tray exceeds 15m, an expansion joint shall be provided; a compensation device shall be installed where the cable tray crosses building deformation joints.

2. Hangers or supports shall be installed at the following locations for cable trays: 2.1 At both ends within 0.5m of tray joints; 2.2 At intervals of 1.5–3m; 2.3 At turning points; 2.4 At every 1.5 meters for vertical trays.

3. The installation of hangers and supports shall remain vertical, neat, firm, and free from tilting.

4. Bolts for the tray connection plate shall be tightly fixed without omission, with nuts located on the outer side of the tray.

5. Cable trays shall be laid below flammable and explosive gas pipelines and thermal pipelines.

6. The entire length of metal trays and their supports shall have no fewer than two points for grounding or neutral connection.

7. Connection plates between metal trays shall be secured at both ends with no fewer than two bolts equipped with lock nuts or lock washers, and both ends of the connection plates shall be bridged with a copper grounding wire not less than 4mm² in cross-section.
