Fireproof Cable Tray:

Fireproof cable trays are constructed with a steel outer shell, double-layer fireproof covers, and an internal inorganic fireproof trough box. The insulation layer has an average thickness of 25mm. The double-layer covers facilitate ventilation and heat dissipation, while the interior is sprayed with fireproof coating. In the event of a fire, the coating expands, blocking the heat dissipation holes and protecting the cables inside the trough box. The fire resistance of the inorganic fireproof trough box has been tested by the Fixed Fire Resistance Testing Center, withstanding a 60-minute fire resistance test without damage to the cables. The supporting structure is robust, effectively securing the inorganic fireproof trough box.

Application of Fireproof Cable Tray: Suitable for power cables below 10KV, as well as control cables, lighting wiring, and other indoor and outdoor overhead cable trenches and tunnel installations. Fireproof cable trays are primarily composed of fireproof boards made from glass fiber reinforced materials and inorganic adhesives, combined with metal frameworks and other fireproof base materials, with an outer layer of fireproof coating. Fireproof cable trays do not burn when exposed to fire, thereby preventing the spread of flames. They offer excellent fire resistance and flame retardancy, along with properties such as heat resistance, oil resistance, corrosion resistance, non-toxicity, and pollution-free characteristics. They are also easy to install as a whole. The fireproof coating features a thin layer, high fire resistance limit, and strong adhesion.

Advantages of Trough-Type Fireproof Cable Trays

1. Traditional metal cable trays have a thin surface anti-corrosion layer, which is prone to damage during transportation and installation. Additionally, the surface has tiny pores, allowing corrosive gases to penetrate the structural layer and compromise the anti-corrosion effect.

2. Non-metallic cable trays offer strong anti-corrosion performance but lack mechanical strength. To address these issues, our company has developed a composite epoxy resin fiberglass cable tray: it incorporates a metal framework within the composite epoxy resin cable tray, retaining the characteristics of the original composite epoxy resin cable tray while enhancing mechanical strength. This allows it to support large-diameter cables, with a span of up to 15 meters.

3. To resolve the delamination issue caused by the different expansion coefficients of metal and non-metal materials, a bonding layer is added between the metal and non-metal components.

4. To combat issues such as easy powdering and aging, a protective layer with special functions like light resistance is molded onto the surface of the cable tray.

5. The composite epoxy resin cable tray has been certified by authoritative institutions to have a service life of over 30 years. This product has been in use for 15 years without any signs of fading or aging.
