Technical requirements and maintenance of widely acclaimed cast iron ground rails!
Based on various forms of cast iron ground rails, equipped with standard structural modules of multiple shapes and specifications, interconnected with their connecting pins. Workpieces to be assembled on the cast iron ground rails are clamped using specialized manual clamps with various compensation forms. Depending on requirements, hydraulic, pneumatic, chain-type, and other clamping methods can also be equipped. All five working surfaces of the cast iron ground rails have 100mm×100mm (D28 series) or 50mm×50mm (D16 series) holes with grid markings. The flatness, parallelism, perpendicularity tolerances of the five surfaces, as well as the positional accuracy of the holes, are extremely high, ensuring that combinations on the tabletop and between the cast iron ground rail tabletop and other modules meet sufficient precision requirements. The size of the base tabletop can be arbitrarily selected from 1000mm×1000mm to 4000mm×2000mm, and custom sizes are available. If high precision is required when combining cast iron ground rail tabletops, guide rails can be used to connect them.
Eliminate the white iron structure of the cast iron ground rail to obtain ferrite-based ductile iron, improve plasticity, reduce hardness, and increase toughness. Full austenitizing normalization at 880~930°C, cooling methods: mist cooling, air cooling, or natural cooling. To reduce stress, add a tempering process: 500~600°C, to obtain pearlite + a small amount of ferrite + spheroidal graphite, increasing the hardness and wear resistance of the cast iron ground rail. Incomplete austenitizing normalization heated at 820~860°C, mist cooling, air cooling, or natural cooling. To reduce stress, add a tempering process at 500~600°C, obtaining a pearlite structure with a small amount of dispersed ferrite, resulting in better comprehensive mechanical properties for the cast iron ground rail. Quenching and tempering treatment heated at 840~880°C, oil or water cooling. Tempering temperature after quenching: 550~600°C, to obtain a tempered sorbite structure, improving overall mechanical properties.

The front end of the pin has five points. After inserting it into the hole, manually rotate the pin clockwise on the cast iron ground rail (or pull the quick handle), and the five points **pop out and lock onto the inclined surface of the hole, completing the connection and clamping. To release, rotate the pin counterclockwise to pull it out. Each cast iron ground rail pin has a locking force of up to 5t and a shear force of 25t. Pins are available in various shapes and lengths.
After demolding the cast iron ground rail, the mold must have no sand drop or missing blocks. The mold surface should be polished and cleaned, and adhered sand on the mold surface should be blown off to prepare for the next sand coating. After sand coating the cast iron ground rail iron mold, transfer it to the mold repair process. Remove excess sand from the sand-coated surface and the gate of the iron mold. Incomplete mold surfaces on non-product forming areas should be repaired, and loose sand should be removed before flipping the iron mold. Use cast iron ground rail sand to block the sand shooting holes, and after curing, trim it smooth.
