The working surface of a large cast iron platform must not have defects such as sand holes, blowholes, cracks, slag inclusions, shrinkage porosity, scratches, bumps, or rust spots that severely affect its appearance and performance. Production requirements and usage instructions for large cast iron platforms: Suitable for various inspection tasks, serving as a reference plane for precision measurements, primarily used as a reference surface for inspecting mechanical workpieces, checking dimensional accuracy or behavior. Large cast iron platforms are indispensable planar reference tools for layout and inspection in mechanical manufacturing. Due to the small actual contact area, even under very light loads, significant unit pressure can occur. Surface roughness varies.
To prevent overall deformation of the large cast iron platform, after use, remove the workpiece from the platform to avoid prolonged heavy pressure. When the platform is not in use, promptly clean the working surface, apply a layer of rust-proof oil, cover it with anti-rust paper, and use the platform’s outer packaging to cover it, protecting the working surface from daily damage. The platform should be installed in a ventilated, dry environment, away from heat sources, corrosive gases, and corrosive liquids. Place the adjustment modules at three points 120° apart. Seat the descaled and polished mold steadily on the furnace bottom material. Align the furnace mouth with the mold mouth, and fix it at three points with inclined wooden blocks or welded iron plates.
