White fused alumina sand for sandblasting is produced from fully smelted and crystallized white fused alumina fixed furnace material through processes such as crushing and screening. The particle size range of white fused alumina for sandblasting is strictly controlled to ensure the abrasive grains are within a specific range. This results in a consistent surface roughness after sandblasting. White fused alumina has good toughness, strong grinding ability, and excellent self-sharpening. When blasted onto the surface of workpieces, it creates indentations through the impact of the airflow. The passivated sandblasted surface enhances the adhesion of subsequent paint coatings. White fused alumina abrasive grains also offer high sandblasting efficiency and high utilization rates.
WFA Abrasive blasting media is made of 99% aluminum oxide powder as raw material, which is refined and crystallized by electric melting (thus white corundum is also called fused alumina and white fused alumina). The white corundum sand produced by our factory has high purity, low impurities, low sodium content, uniform particles and high whiteness.

Main Characteristics of White Fused Alumina:
1. White fused alumina has a microhardness of 20.58 GPa, Vickers hardness of 2200-2400 kg/mm², and Mohs hardness of 9.0. It can be used for sandblasting most metals, cast steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metal alloys, chromium/manganese/tungsten/molybdenum-containing metals, glass, and other non-metallic materials.
2. White fused alumina has strong grinding ability and high sandblasting efficiency. Due to its excellent self-sharpening properties, it does not cause burning or oxidation on the sandblasted surface.
3. White fused alumina can also be directly used for grinding, polishing, surface treatment, sandblasting for rust removal, etc. It is suitable for dry and wet sandblasting, surface polishing, and surface treatment passivation before coating.
4. White fused alumina has high purity, with the main crystal phase being α-phase alumina. It has low impurities and low magnetic content, leaving no chemical residues after sandblasting. It can be used for sandblasting mechanical components in the medical, aerospace, and food industries.
Characteristics of white fused corundum:
1. Because the white fused alumina has good self-sharpening, strong toughness, strong grinding ability, hardness higher than brown corundum, and low heat generation, it can not only be used as a raw material for abrasive tools such as cutting discs and grinding wheels.
2. White fused corundum can also be directly used in grinding and polishing, surface treatment, sandblasting and rust removal, and can be used in dry and wet sandblasting, surface polishing and polishing, and surface treatment before spraying.

1. Metal sandblasting surface treatment:
Removing the oxide layer of metal, stainless steel, aluminum alloy, tungsten molybdenum, copper products and other materials. Abrasive sandblasting to remove rust. White aluminum oxide grain has strong grinding ability and high efficiency. It can be recycled and will not leave residues on the surface of the workpiece. White aluminum oxide grain does not contain iron, sulfur, chlorine and other elements. It can be used in dentistry, food, medical equipment, aerospace and other fields :
