| 1. Polyethylene glycol series products can be used in pharmaceuticals. Lower molecular weight polyethylene glycols can be used as solvents, cosolvents, o/w emulsifiers and stabilizers for the preparation of suspensions, emulsions, injections, etc. They are also used as water-soluble ointment bases and suppository bases. Higher molecular weight solid waxy polyethylene glycols are often used to increase the viscosity and solidity of low molecular weight liquid PEGs and to compensate for other drugs. For drugs that are not easily soluble in water, this product can be used as a carrier for solid dispersants to achieve solid dispersion. PEG4000 and PEG6000 are excellent coating materials, hydrophilic polishing materials, film and capsule materials, plasticizers, lubricants, and drop pill bases, used in the preparation of tablets, pills, capsules, microcapsules, etc. 2. PEG4000 and PEG6000 are used as excipients in the pharmaceutical industry for the preparation of suppositories and ointments; in the paper industry as coating agents to increase the gloss and smoothness of paper; in the rubber industry as additives to increase the lubricity and plasticity of rubber products, reduce power consumption during processing, and extend the service life of rubber products. 3. Polyethylene glycol series products can be used as raw materials for ester-type surfactants. 4. PEG-200 can be used as a medium for organic synthesis and as a high-demand heat carrier. In the daily chemical industry, it is used as a humectant, inorganic salt solubilizer, and viscosity regulator; in the textile industry as a softener and antistatic agent; in the paper and pesticide industries as a wetting agent. 5. PEG-400, PEG-600, and PEG-800 are used as bases in pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, and as lubricants and wetting agents in the rubber and textile industries. PEG-600 added to electrolytes in the metal industry can enhance grinding effects and improve the gloss of metal surfaces. 6. PEG-1000 and PEG-1500 are used as bases or lubricants and softeners in the pharmaceutical, textile, and cosmetics industries; as dispersants in the coatings industry to improve the water dispersibility and flexibility of resins, with a usage of 20~30%; in inks to enhance the solubility of dyes and reduce volatility, especially suitable for stencil and stamp pad inks, and also used to adjust the viscosity of ballpoint pen inks; in the rubber industry as dispersants to promote vulcanization and as dispersants for carbon black fillers. 7. PEG-2000 and PEG-3000 are used as metal processing mold agents, lubricants for metal drawing, stamping or forming, and cutting fluids, grinding cooling lubricants, polishing agents, welding agents, etc.; in the paper industry as lubricants, and also as hot melt adhesives to increase rapid rewetting ability. 8. PEG-4000 and PEG-6000 are used as bases in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries to regulate viscosity and melting point; as lubricants and coolants in the rubber and metal processing industries; as dispersants and emulsifiers in the pesticide and pigment industries; and as antistatic agents and lubricants in the textile industry. 9. PEG200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1500 are packaged in 200kg iron drums or 50kg plastic drums; PEG2000, 3000, 4000, 6000, 8000 are sliced and packaged in 20kg woven bags. This series of products is non-toxic and non-flammable. Store and transport as general chemicals. Store in a dry and ventilated place. Shelf life: two years. |
