I. Introduction
The species and quantity of zooplankton in water bodies, as well as particle size distribution, serve as critical basis for studying aquatic food chains. Traditionally, manual identification has been employed, which is highly time-consuming and labor-intensive. The Wanshen ZooCC Automatic Zooplankton Classification and Counting System effectively addresses this challenge for users. It is primarily used in ecological surveys, fisheries, aquaculture, education, and other industries to automatically count, measure size, classify species, and determine biomass of zooplankton samples in water bodies.
II. Core Performance Indicators
1. Imaging System
(1) ★ High-resolution transmitted light positive images are obtained by scanning at 6400 dpi, capable of including thousands of complete zooplankton.
(2) Optimized lighting parameters ensure image contrast and imaging quality.
(3) Features automatic enhancement of zooplankton clarity.
(4) Automatically stores high-resolution original scanned images of zooplankton.
2. ★Analysis Indicators
(1) One-click automatic completion of the entire process, including target extraction of zooplankton, AI-enhanced deep learning classification and identification of 35 major categories of zooplankton above 150μm (currently more categories are available for seawater), and counting analysis.
(2) Built-in classification and identification libraries for common marine and freshwater zooplankton. Users can create local standard identification libraries, with support for online updates of the identification libraries.
(3) Capable of analyzing zooplankton above 150μm, suitable for analyzing water sample volumes of 35-300 mL per session. Scanning time per water sample is ≤15 minutes, and automatic analysis for classification and counting takes ≤6 minutes per water sample.
(4) Comprehensive automatic recognition rate ≥80%, repeatability error ≤5%, with features for assisted target segmentation and classification correction.
(5) Can analyze and obtain morphological parameters such as area, perimeter, volume, length, width, major axis, minor axis, and equivalent diameter for each zooplankton.
(6) Can analyze and statistics the quantity, area, volume, and their proportions of each category of zooplankton; sort each category and display proportions via bar charts.
(7) Automatically calculates Shannon-Wiener index, evenness index, richness index, individual density, biomass, etc.
3. Data Reporting
(1) Automatically generates classification and counting statistical reports, indicating dominant species and their dominance, sorted by dominant species.
(2) Data can be exported to Excel for further statistical analysis.
(3) ★ Can locate and mark on maps based on geographical coordinates of collection sites, supporting various map sources such as Amap, Amap Satellite, Google Maps, and Google Satellite.
(4) Compatible with batch import of other known standard learning library images and other images.
