SC-K Rice Panicle Length, Stem Thickness, and Leaf Angle Measurement System

I. Purpose

The ear length, ear diameter, stem diameter, and stem-leaf angle of crops are fundamental parameters in crop phenotyping. Manual measurement of these traits is labor-intensive. This system utilizes machine vision and intelligent recognition technology to efficiently obtain accurate measurements, providing a basis for breeding selection.

II. Key Technical Specifications

1. Imaging is performed using an auto-focus, large-depth-of-field 8-megapixel camera, with automatic recognition and calculation by software.

2. ★ Automatically measures rice ear length, stem diameter, and stem-leaf angle, as well as ear length and ear diameter for wheat, millet, and sorghum.

3. ★ Automatically triggers recognition once the ear is stabilized; single-ear measurement takes ≤2 seconds (maximum speed: 30 ear lengths/minute). Can also be triggered via external barcode scanner or keyboard input for sample ID.

4. Repeated measurement error: ear length ≤ ±0.75mm, stem diameter ≤ ±0.3mm, stem-leaf angle ≤ ±1°.

5. Parameter settings are saved for reuse. Automatically eliminates interference from awn length in rice.

6. Customizable threshold values; voice prompts automatically report screening results (OK for within limits, NG for out of limits for ear length, stem diameter, and stem-leaf angle).

7. Stores tens of thousands of images and corresponding data; supports wireless internet for remote transmission of images and results.
