1. Pall Filter Product Overview:

The high-pressure filter element HC8304FKZ39Z is installed in the hydraulic system's oil circuit to remove metal powder from component wear and other mechanical impurities, keeping the oil circuit clean and extending the life of the hydraulic system. The low-pressure series Pall filter elements also feature a bypass valve that automatically opens when the filter element is not replaced in time, ensuring the system operates normally. This series of products serves as a replacement for similar products from the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, and other countries.

2. Installation Locations of PALL Filter Element HC8304FKZ39Z in the Hydraulic System:

(1) Installed at the pump's suction port:

A surface-type oil filter is usually installed on the pump's suction line to filter out larger impurity particles and protect the hydraulic pump. Additionally, the filter's capacity should be more than twice the pump's flow rate, with a pressure loss of less than 0.02 MPa.

(2) Installed on the pump's outlet oil line:

The purpose of installing an oil filter here is to remove contaminants that may intrude into components such as valves. The Pall filter element should have a filtration accuracy of 10–15 μm, withstand the working pressure and impact pressure in the oil line, and have a pressure drop of less than 0.35 MPa. A safety valve should also be installed to prevent filter clogging.

(3) Installed on the system's return oil line: This installation provides indirect filtration. Generally, a backpressure valve is installed in parallel with the filter. When the filter clogs and reaches a certain pressure value, the backpressure valve opens.

(4) Installed on the system's branch oil line.

(5) Independent filtration system: Large hydraulic systems can have a dedicated hydraulic pump and oil filter to form an independent filtration circuit.

In addition to the oil filter required for the entire hydraulic system, a dedicated precision oil filter is often installed separately in front of some critical components (such as servo valves, precision throttle valves, etc.) to ensure their normal operation.
