Anhui Jiangtai New Material Technology Co., Ltd. is located in the Huaibei New Coal Chemical Synthesis Base, a provincial-level chemical industrial park in Anhui. Established in 2017 and officially put into operation in May 2020, it is a fine chemical enterprise integrating science, industry, and trade. The company collaborates with multiple universities to achieve complementary advantages, implementing derivative production from raw materials to final products, ensuring optimized product profitability. It mainly produces pharmaceutical and pesticide intermediates, methylbenzoic acid, nitrobenzoic acid, and their derived acyl chloride and amide products. The products have wide applications, strong market demand, and promising prospects. The factory is newly built, with all safety and environmental standards complying with petrochemical regulations and meeting the requirements of circular economy development. The safety facilities and process are secure and reliable, employing advanced technology such as mild oxidation reactions and low-risk one-step nitration processes, without the use of chemical oxidants or organic solvents. Reaction conditions are fully automated. Environmental protection is effective, with secondary condensation and activated carbon fiber automatic adsorption systems ensuring that exhaust gases from air oxidation meet both total emission and concentration standards. After the first phase of operation, the company will produce three major series and eight main products, achieving an annual production capacity of 17,000 tons, including 10,000 tons of methylbenzoic acid, 5,000 tons of nitrobenzoic acid, 2,000 tons of methylbenzoyl chloride, and 1,500 tons of DEET. The second phase is currently under construction and is expected to be completed in 2021, adding 3,000 tons of nitration products and 2,000 tons of acyl chloride products, ultimately meeting customer demands.
