Baicalin Huangqin Baicalin WS1—XG—2002 R=Glucuronic Acid [C21H18O11=446.38] This product, calculated on the dried basis, contains not less than 90.0% of Baicalin (C21H18O11) for injection use, and not less than 83.0% for oral use. 【Description】This product is a light yellow powder with a bitter taste. 【Identification】(1) Take a small amount of this product, dissolve it in 2ml of ethanol, add 2 drops of ferric chloride test solution, and a dirty color appears immediately. (2) Take a small amount of this product, add 2ml of water, dropwise add sodium hydroxide test solution to dissolve, the solution appears orange-yellow; dropwise add dilute acetic acid until the color of the solution basically fades, then add 1 drop of 5% zirconium dioxide solution, the solution appears yellow, and the color does not fade after adding dilute hydrochloric acid. 【Test】Loss on drying Dry this product at 105°C to constant weight; the loss in weight is not more than 3.0% (Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2000 Edition Part II Appendix LXG). 【Assay】Determine in accordance with the high-performance liquid chromatography method (Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2000 Edition Part II Appendix VID).
