LLS-17 Anti-Rodent Plastic Additive

The LLS-17 anti-rodent plastic additive product developed by our company is compounded with synthetic capsaicin, enhancers, synergists, and other additives. It is an environmentally friendly high-tech product with low toxicity, LD50 ≥ 4000 mg/kg, and a decomposition temperature of 340°C. This product has passed the EU ROHS Directive and SVHC «Substances of Very High Concern» testing. Its pungent components strongly stimulate the oral mucosa and taste nerves of rodents, deterring them from chewing on wires and cables, thereby protecting electrical wires and cables. It is widely used in wires, cables, packaging, and building materials. The recommended addition amount is 0.6–1.0%.

Components: LLS-17 10 kg; Resin 990 kg;

When used in PVC, it can first be mixed with plasticizers, with a mixing temperature not exceeding 180°C.

Precautions:

1. Since capsaicin strongly irritates the skin, eyes, and respiratory tract, protective measures should be taken during use.

2. If contact or splashing occurs on the skin, rinse thoroughly with soap and cold water.

Storage:

The product should be stored sealed in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area.
