The ESFR-363 Early Suppression Fast Response sprinkler is a large-flow, large-orifice sprinkler head. It serves as a key component in automatic fire sprinkler systems, primarily for fire detection and automatic suppression. The ESFR-363 sprinkler responds quickly and delivers more water to suppress a fire, rather than just controlling it like standard sprinklers.

The ESFR-363 sprinkler is approved for use in protecting ordinary hazard occupancies, warehouses storing Class I-IV commodities, plastic commodities, and mixed commodities, as well as other commodities specified by NFPA standards.

The ESFR-363 sprinkler is generally selected for wet pipe systems and is not permitted for use in dry pipe systems. When protecting valuable items, precision electronic equipment, computer rooms, or when ambient temperatures do not meet requirements, a preaction system shall be used.

This ESFR-363 Early Suppression Fast Response sprinkler offers high flow and rapid activation. Each sprinkler provides a maximum protection area of 9.3 m², suitable for maximum storage heights of 9.1m to 12.2m, with a maximum ceiling height of 13.7m. The sprinkler's design pressure ranges from 0.14 MPa to 0.34 MPa. The system operates at lower pressures, producing larger water droplets and superior fire suppression performance.

One significant feature of the 363 ESFR sprinkler is that the system does not require in-rack sprinklers.

III. Warnings for the Early Suppression Fast Response (ESFR) Sprinkler K363 (Pendent Type):

1. The application of ESFR sprinklers has strict usage conditions: storage height, building height, roof slope, and relevant regulations for use in wet pipe systems, among others.

2. For situations where water leakage or accidental discharge is strictly prohibited, the ESFR-363 sprinkler must be used with a preaction system—an alternative to wet pipe automatic sprinkler systems. Preaction systems offer dual protection, eliminate delayed activation issues, and provide fire suppression efficiency equivalent to wet pipe systems.

3. The operating pressure of the sprinkler must strictly adhere to the relevant clauses of the "Automatic Sprinkler System Design Manual." Pressure should be controlled within the range of 0.14 MPa to 0.34 MPa. Therefore, extreme care must be taken during all post-manufacturing stages (transportation, relocation, storage, installation, and other equipment operations on-site). Any impact causing damage is strictly prohibited.
