Catenary Tension Detector Wire Rope Tension Measuring Device The rope tension meter is primarily used to measure ropes under existing tension, such as: fixed curtain wall cables, ropes, steel wires, steel strands, aluminum conductor steel reinforced (ACSR), auxiliary ropes, tension measurement of contact wires in electrified railways and supporting suspension cables.

I. Scope of Application and Main Uses

Suitable for tunnel construction, fishing industry, major research institutes and teaching institutions, testing organizations, and occasions involving tension in steel cables, ropes, and steel wires, such as the power industry bridges, coal mining industry, communication industry, transportation industry, glass curtain wall decoration industry, cableway operation industry, construction industry, and recreational venues.

II. Main Features

1、Accuracy class: ±3%～6% (depending on rope type and characteristics).

2、When the measured cable specification matches the stored cable number in the tension meter, the measurement accuracy within the rated range can reach ±2%.

3、Rope diameter: 10T: 10mm-22mm, 20T: 16mm-28mm, 30T: 22mm-34mm.

4、Testing range: 10T; 20T; 30T.

5、Capable of directly measuring tensioned rope structures without disassembly. Lightweight, simple structure, easy operation, suitable for any occasion.

6、Features seven wire diameter measurement functions, wider measurement range, cost-saving, suitable for flexible, tensile cables.

7、Such as various steel wires, high-strength ropes, etc.

Precautions and Maintenance

1、When carrying the tension meter, hold it by the handle. Do not hold it upside down by the handwheel to avoid damaging the sensor.

2、Prevent high temperatures, excessive moisture, and avoid intrusion of dust, corrosive substances, and water into the instrument.

3、Keep infrequently used parts clean and apply anti-rust treatment.

4、Conduct regular inspections to maintain the integrity of instrument components.

5、Calibrate once a year.

6、Record usage and maintenance details.

7、If not used for extended periods, power the machine regularly and allow it to run appropriately. It is recommended to charge the tension meter every 3 months for 3-5 hours. Avoid overcharging to prevent battery damage.

8、Do not discard or mishandle; store in the instrument case after use. The battery is inside the instrument; non-professionals should not disassemble the internal structure.

9、Store within a temperature range of -20~+60℃ and relative humidity below 90%.

10、It is not recommended to use a high-range tension meter to measure small-diameter cables for high-precision data.
