Protection Functions

The YZ310 can implement various protection functions, such as: three-stage current protection, inverse-time overcurrent protection, zero-sequence overcurrent protection, negative-sequence overcurrent protection, under-voltage protection, over-voltage protection, overload protection, automatic bus transfer, automatic recovery, reacceleration, temperature protection, gas protection, ground fault alarm, control circuit break alarm, zero-sequence overvoltage alarm, PT break alarm, three-phase single-shot reclosing, under-frequency load shedding, etc.
Control Function
It allows for local or remote control of various switchgear devices, such as circuit breaker opening and closing operations, via an upper computer.
Measurement Function
All electrical measurements are obtained through AC sampling, using precision voltage and current sensors that are compact, lightweight, and highly accurate. It can measure phase voltages (Ua, Ub, Uc) or line voltages (Uab, Ubc, Uca), phase currents (Ia, Ib, Ic), zero-sequence voltage (U0), zero-sequence current (I0), active power (P), reactive power (Q), active energy (integrated energy APh), and reactive energy (integrated energy AQh). The CT and PT ratios can be set as needed to directly display primary and secondary actual values.
Digital Input Detection Function
The YZ310 series has 12 digital input terminals and uploads their status. Except for IN1, which is fixed as the circuit breaker position and some predefined digital input meanings, the rest can be configured according to user requirements. Remote Unit Management Function
The YZ310 uses an RS485 communication interface, allowing functional units to communicate with the master computer (or communication management unit) for remote transmission and exchange of information. Through the master computer (or communication management unit), remote query and setting of protection device parameters, as well as remote control of the device, can be achieved.
Event Recording Function
The YZ310 has 30 event recording functions, automatically recording the time, type, and action values of events. The time resolution is less than 2 milliseconds, and it features non-volatile memory to prevent data loss during power outages.
