ISA-392GA is an integrated feeder protection and control device that provides protection, measurement and control, and operation functions for feeders, transformer groups, and sections.

2.1 Basic Configuration

Protection Functions  Three-stage current protection that can be independently enabled or disabled
1. Inverse-time overcurrent protection with selectable extreme, very, or general operating characteristics
2. Phase current acceleration protection with selectable pre-acceleration or post-acceleration
3. Three-phase single-shot auto-reclosing (with optional synchronous check and dead-line check)
4. Under-frequency load shedding
5. Under-voltage load shedding
6. Zero-sequence overcurrent protection, zero-sequence post-acceleration protection
7. Overload protection
8. Control circuit failure alarm with optional reclosing lockout function
9. Bus PT failure alarm with optional lockout for voltage-related protections
10. Independent operating circuit and fault recording
Measurement and Control Functions:
1. 3 position remote signals collected via the operating circuit; 20 remote signal inputs, with options for reclosing lockout, external reset, and device maintenance; multiple soft remote signals, including general fault signal, reclosing charging flag, and protection soft settings
2. 18 remote measurements including Ia, Ib, Ic, Ua, Ub, Uc, 3I0, Uab, Ubc, Uca, Pa, Pb, Q, S, COSφ, Fr
3. Remote control of switches, with recording and statistics of remote control operations
4. Large-capacity event records, SOE records, self-test records, and instantaneous protection lockout records, with printing (optional function)
5. Harmonic analysis function up to the 13th order
