ISA-359G is an integrated capacitor protection measurement and control device that implements protection, measurement and control, and operation functions for capacitors.
The ISA-359G device is divided into four types based on different protection functions: 359GA, 359GB, 359GC, and 359GD.

3.1 Basic Configuration

Protection Functions:
• Phase current over-limit recording element with independent threshold
• Two-stage current protection that can be independently enabled or disabled
• Definite-time overvoltage protection
• Current-blocked undervoltage protection
• Ungrounded zero-sequence directional overcurrent protection
• Small resistance grounded zero-sequence overcurrent protection (only available in 359GB)
• Unbalanced voltage or zero-sequence differential voltage protection (only available in 359GA and 359GB)
• Unbalanced current or zero-sequence differential current protection (only available in 359GA and 359GB)
• Capacitor bridge differential protection (only available in 359GC)
• Capacitor phase differential voltage protection (only available in 359GD)
• PT disconnection alarm, control circuit disconnection alarm
• Closing lockout function after protection operation
• Remote grounding line selection test trip function for ungrounded systems (automatically determines whether it is a local line ground fault)
• Lockout for simplified busbar protection
• Independent operation circuit and fault recording
Measurement and Control Functions:
• 3 position remote signals collected via the operation circuit; 8 (expandable to 20) remote signal inputs, with options for non-electrical quantity inputs, external reset, and maintenance inputs; multiple soft remote signals, including general accident signal and protection soft压板
• 19 (18 for 359GC/D) remote measurements: Ia, Ib (only available in 359GA and 359GB), Ic, Ua, Ub, Uc, 3I0, Uab, Ubc, Uca, 3U0, Pa, Pb, Q, S, COSφ, Fr
• Remote control of switches and soft压板, with records and statistics of remote control operations
• Large-capacity event records, SOE records, self-check records, and instantaneous lockout protection records
• Harmonic analysis function up to the 11th order
• Remote control function with interval five-prevention lockout rules consistent with the five-prevention host
