6% Luer Taper Performance TesterThe LEY-T01 testing instrument is designed and manufactured in accordance with the relevant clauses of "GB/T1962.1-2001 Syringes, Needles and Other Medical Devices 6% (Luer) Taper Fittings Part 1: General Requirements". It is used for testing the performance of taper fittings, including leakage of liquid, leakage of air, separation force, stress cracking, etc.

Today, Zhongce Electromechanical will briefly introduce the test items of the 6% Luer Taper Performance Tester LEY-T01 testing instrument.

1. Liquid Leakage: Under standard test conditions, the fitting must not show leakage that forms dripping water droplets.

2. Air Leakage: Under standard test conditions, no bubbles should form.

3. Separation Force: Under standard test conditions, the test fitting and the standard fitting must not separate.

4. Unscrewing Torque: Under standard test conditions, the test fitting and the standard fitting must not separate.

5. Ease of Assembly: Rigid fittings: There should be no resistance before the taper of the test fitting is fully and tightly connected to the standard fitting.

6. Separation Force: Semi-rigid fittings: They should be able to connect properly under an axial force not exceeding 20N and a torque not exceeding 0.08N•m.

7. Overload Resistance: Under standard test conditions, the standard fitting should not override the threads and lugs of the test fitting.

8. Stress Cracking: Under standard test conditions, the fitting must not show stress cracking.

9. Resistance to Thread Slippage: Apply a torque of not less than 0.15N•m to the test fitting and hold for 5 seconds; the test specimen should not experience thread slippage.

10. Positive Pressure Liquid Leakage: Increase internal water pressure to 300kPa and hold for 30 seconds; the leakage rate must not exceed 0.005Pa•m³/s.

11. Negative Pressure Air Leakage: Increase vacuum pressure to the specified level and hold for 20 seconds; the leakage rate must not exceed 0.005Pa•m³/s.
